Green Colored Pavement Marking

Provided below is guidance and procedures required for submitting files to be included in the statewide Green Colored Pavement Marking GIS feature class (used where there are bicycle conflict areas).

What the District Has to Deliver

GIS is the preferred deliverable
    - Set the coordinate system as State Plane Coordinate System of 1983.
    - Provide this information: FIN (FPID or Project Number), Location Description describing the project limits, and whether or not it is a LAP project (Local Agency Program).

Provide this information in the attribute table (see below):

Shapefile - Template (.ZIP file, 12 kb)
                         or
Geodatabase - Template (.ZIP file, 25 kb)

or

CADD is acceptable
    - Submit just the file with the green pavement, not all the reference (alignment, etc.), and the Excel Spreadsheet.
    - Set the coordinate system as State Plane Coordinate System of 1983.
    - Put the green color pavement markings, and nothing else, on the "BikeLaneColorPavt" level.
    - Provide this information: FIN (FPID or Project Number), Location Description describing the project limits, and whether or not it is a LAP project (Local Agency Program).

Provide this information in the spreadsheet (see below):

CADD and Excel Spreadsheet as email attachments: Template (.ZIP file, 614 kb).

Submit the file

The District Final Plans unit will check for the file(s) in the Final Projects folder and email it to: co-cimgis@dot.state.fl.us.  If attachments are more than 25 MB, then please send through the  File Transfer Appliance (FTA).

Quality Control (QC) of CADD or GIS file

Recommended issues to look for when performing QC on the GIS or CADD files:

Correct unit system (English and/or US Survey Foot)
Correct coordinate system, State Plane Coordinate System 1983
Markings on the correct layer/level, BikeLaneColorPavt
Matches the template
