Thank you for your interest in the Florida Department of Transportation Human Resources Office. We coordinate and administer human resources functions, including selection, classification and pay, benefits, and employee relations.

The Florida Department of Transportation is responsible for providing a safe statewide transportation system that ensures the mobility of people and goods, enhances economic prosperity, and preserves the quality of the environment and communities.

The Department of Transportation is a decentralized agency. The department’s headquarters in Tallahassee is responsible for developing policies and procedures and providing quality assurance, while its seven district offices and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise are responsible for building and maintaining roads and bridges. District offices are located in Broward, Columbia, Dade, Hillsborough, Orange, Polk, Volusia, and Washington counties. The Office of Human Resources provides support for the Department’s employees and retirees.
