Office of Transportation Technology

Transportation Technology oversees the alignment of information and operational technologies for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). This area is also responsible for the strategy and operations of the department’s technology environment in direct support of the agency’s mission.

Transportation Technology prioritizes all technology projects ensuring enterprise coordination and management of technology and technology resources that directly deliver the core mission of the Department. Transportation Technology resources bolster safety and connectivity on Florida roadways by aligning technology and data; automating services; creating enterprise data and technology standards; and enhancing cybersecurity, thereby mitigating risks resulting from emerging technologies.

Transportation Technology is made up of several divisions: Civil Integrated Management, Information Security Management, Office of Information Technology, Process and Quality Improvement, Emerging Technology, and Transportation Technology Financial and Administrative Services Team.
