Welcome to the District Three Tentative Work Program

The Five-Year Work Program is our plan for transportation system improvements programmed during the next five years. The Five-Year Work Program includes planning activities, preliminary engineering, right-of-way acquisition, construction, and public transportation projects within the following 16 counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton and Washington.

The current Adopted Five-Year Work Program covers Fiscal Years 2025 through 2029 (projects programmed July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2029) and was adopted on July 1, 2024. To view and search selections of the adopted with amended and historical versions of the Five-Year Work Program, you may use the Five-Year Work Program online search tool. The Tentative Five-Year Work Program includes projects scheduled for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2030 (projects programmed July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030). After the public comment period ends, the Tentative Work Program is reviewed by the Florida Legislature and the Governor, which is then adopted by the State Secretary of Transportation on July 1, 2025.

2024 Work Program Public Hearing Information

Thursday, December 5, 2024
1:00PM to 2:00PM (Central)

The hearing will begin at 1:00 PM with a presentation explaining the FDOT's work program process followed by a presentation highlighting projects planned in the 2026-2030 Tentative Work Program. A public comment period will follow the presentations, and the hearing will adjourn at the conclusion of the public comments. Individuals can attend in person or via webinar (virtually). The comment period for the 2026-2030 Tentative Five-Year Work Program will open on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Comments must be submitted or postmarked by Monday, December 16, 2024, to be a part of the official record. PURPOSE: This Public Hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 339.135(4)(c), Florida Statutes. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the Department's Tentative Work Program for District Three, for the period 2025/2026 through 2029/2030, and to consider the necessity of making any changes to the program.
