AV Shuttle at PSTA

PSTA in partnership with Beep is currently operating AVA, short for Autonomous Vehicle Advantage, on Bayshore Drive the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Agency in the City of Saint Petersburg.

Launched on November 25, 2020, it is the first, fully electric autonomous vehicle fleet launched by a transit agency in mixed traffic. It is the Florida Department of Transportation funded project and provide a first-mile and last-mile solution along Bayshore Drive with four stops connecting a hotel, museums, pier, yacht club, and Cross Bay ferry service. The service along Bayshore Drive runs until the end of March 2021.
