The ITSFM Maintainer training is designed for maintenance managers and technicians who perform maintenance on the ITS network. This training teaches students to log into the system, navigate the map view, locate ITS devices and equipment sites, trace fiber and electric paths, view features in Google Earth, and generate numerous reports.

This course consists of six modules containing 18 lessons. The CBT portion takes approximately five hours to complete and is followed by approximately eight hours of classroom ILT. Students have approximately two weeks to complete the CBT portion of this training before attending the classroom ILT.

New students are required to complete each of the CBT lessons in a specified order. After successfully completing a course, users can access the associated CBT for refresher training in any order and without the requirement to complete knowledge checks and testing.

Important Requirements

  1. Only students who successfully complete the entire training curriculum will receive ITSFM system access (user id and password) for the District authorized serving areas and a certificate of completion.
  2. Students with improperly configured laptop computers will not be allowed to attend the ILT.
