Commercial Vehicle Operations (CVO)/Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program

The CVO/TIM Program within the Traffic Engineering and Operations (TEO) Office of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is responsible for the operations of two programs that significantly contribute to roadway safety within the state of Florida. The CVO program serves to ensure the safe and efficient movement of commercial vehicles on the state and national highway system. The TIM program exists to ensure a high level of safety on the Florida roadways through programs like the Road Ranger Service Patrol (RRSP), Rapid Incident Scene Clearance (RISC), and TIM Teams that focuses on partnerships with responding agencies to streamline incident response and clearance.
