Take a leisurely ride (or e-scoot) rolling from downtown, along the waterfront, and circling back to the Greenmarket for a 6-mile ride with the Palm Beach TPA and the City of West Palm Beach. The ride will start at 8:30 AM and last approximately 45 minutes. Bring your own bike (or rent a Brightbike), helmet, sun protection, and water. Registration is required. CycleMania will have a bike rodeo/obstacle course set up in Munn Park for the little ones, including balance bikes for those that haven’t quite mastered the art of bike riding. Festivities will begin with a community bike ride that will leave from Munn Park, circle Lake Morton, and return to Munn Park. The community bike ride will be at party pace and families are encouraged to attend.The ride will be led by the Lakeland Police Department’s bicycle brigade.

The mayor of Jacksonville, Donna Deegan, announced a proclamation encouraging citizens to participate in the FDOT Mobility Week, so we invite all citizens to come out to the James Weldon Johnson Park on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 to celebrate! JTA will be showcasing their autonomous vehicles and a variety of vendors will be on site giving away tons of FREE items including bike DNA Registration stickers, bike helmets, bike lights, light-up arm bands, coloring books/crayons, backpacks, and much more! Volusia County White Cane Awareness Event

They will board a fixed route bus at the Volusia Mall at 9:52 a.m., embarking on a journey wearing blindfolds. This exercise aims to provide them with firsthand insight into the challenges faced by blind and visually impaired individuals. During the ride, they will experience the Route 11B bus, departing from the Volusia Mall and arriving at the Transfer Plaza at 10:28 a.m. From there, they will transfer to Route 10 at 10:32 a.m., ultimately returning to the Volusia Mall at 10:51 a.m.

Miami-Dade TPO is celebrating Mobility Week 2023 with a 1-mile scenic bike ride along The Underline Phase 1. Arrive for check-in at the Government Center Metrorail Station Lobby, where we will begin our tour with a presentation of the many multimodal transportation options servicing this location. We then ride the Metrorail south to the Brickell Station, where we will have a presentation by Bike305 regarding cycling safety tips before riding towards the Miami River for a brief presentation regarding The Underline project’s origins, vision, and plans in the future, as well as about the importance of good urban design of public spaces. After ending our ride at SW 15 Road, we return to the Brickell Metrorail Station for a demonstration by Miami-Dade Transit of how to use the available bicycle racks on all Metrobus buses.
