IFTA-IRP Grace extension 2024

As a follow-up to the March 19^th, 2024, memo from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), the Department is granting a grace extension period due to the office closures from May 30^th through June 13^th when the office underwent a new system implementation and they were unable to renew, replace, or issue registrations.

 As a result, the Department is requesting that law enforcement please refrain from taking action against:

• registrants whose registrations expired on or after May 31^st, 2024, until August 30^th, 2024
• and licensees needing additional or replacement decals from May 30^th, 2024, until August 31^st, 2024.
