The Florida Department of Transportation serves as a member of the Southern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (SASHTO). Each year, the remaining monies from the annual SASHTO Conference are divided among the member states to promote scholarship programs in their state. SASHTO funded scholarships are awarded each year to promote engineering education; however, all eligible students are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

2026 SASHTO Application
The SASHTO Scholarship application period is open from March 16th - April 13th. View current and past winners on our SASHTO Winners Archive page.
SASHTO Important Dates
| March 16th - April 13th | SASHTO Application Period |
| April 13th at 11:59 PM (EST) | Applications must be received by 11:59 Eastern Standard Time on April 13th to be accepted |
| April 14th - April 24th | FDOT Scholarship Selection Committees receive and evaluate eligible applications |
| April 27th | SASHTO Scholarship winners are announced and presented across the state (specific dates to be determined by location) |
