SMART US 19

The intent of the Pasco County Project entitled “Safety and Mobility with Advanced and Reliable Technologies along US-19” (SMART US-19) is to transform the existing operation of US-19 into SMART US-19 to improve safety and mobility for all travel modes. The SMART US-19 Project connects to and extends the current FDOT CAV project in Pinellas County (which is now complete) into Pasco County to implement the same vision and implementation similar process as of CAV project in Pinellas County. The project will install RSU’s at 36 intersections from Pinellas County on the south to Hernando County on the North.  Providing for 42 miles of connected infrastructure.
