About the Study

PROJECT PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the project is to reduce multimodal travel delay by increasing intersection multimodal capacity to accommodate future multimodal travel demand. The purpose will also be to increase multimodal system linkage, eliminate existing roadway deficiencies, improve multimodal safety, and enhance modal interrelationships with cycling, pedestrian, and bus transit modes.

SR 838/Sunrise Boulevard from NE 15^th Avenue to Middle River Drive
SR 5/US 1 from SR 838/Sunrise Boulevard to NE 13^th Street
