Rail
Explore Tri-Rail, providing service along a 72-mile corridor in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. There are a total of eighteen stations.

All have shuttle services to/from Tri-Rail stations to other major destinations.
Operated by All Aboard Florida, Brightline provides premium express rail service along the FEC rail line from West Palm Beach to Miami with planned future service to Orlando.
Explore Metrorail, a 25-mile elevated rapid transit system that provides service to Miami International Airport and runs from Kendall through South Miami, Coral Gables, and downtown Miami; to the Civic Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital area; and to Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, and Medley in northwest Miami-Dade, with connections to Broward and Palm Beach counties at the Tri-Rail/Metrorail transfer station. The 23 accessible Metrorail stations are about one mile apart, providing easy access for bus riders and pedestrians.
If you live in downtown Miami, try the free Metromover, a 4.4-mile fully automated people mover system that connects with Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell stations and with Metrobus at various locations throughout downtown. Major destinations include the American Airlines Arena, Bayside Market Place, Miami-Dade College and the Miami-Dade County School Board.
Bus
Ride around South Florida without having to worry about parking or the cost of gasoline. Use the following options:
Serving the Key West, Stock Island, and up to Marathon.
The 595 Express Bus provides service along I-595 from the BB&T Center park and ride in Sunrise and the Davie park & ride. BB&T service travels to downtown Miami/Brickell and Miami Civic Center.
Several express bus routes are operated by Broward County Transit and Miami-Dade Transit along I-95 express lanes to accommodate peak hour travel.
The Metrobus serves all of Miami-Dade County with connections north to Broward County and south to the Middle Keys with connections to Metrorail and Metromover.
An on-demand free electric transportation service offered in the cities of Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach and Miami Lakes.
Community Transportation Coordinator for Monroe County.
Offers paratransit services to Monroe County's elderly, disabled, and transportation-disadvantaged citizens. Seniors over 60 years ride free.

Miami-Dade Transit also offers complimentary on-call services for individuals who are not able to use the regular fixed route bus service because of a disability, age or other limitations.
Ridesharing
Ridesharing is a great way to cutting down transportation costs and reducing your carbon footprint.

Telework
Telework is a work arrangement whereby employees are allowed to perform the normal duties and responsibilities of their positions through the use of computers or telecommunications, at home or another place apart from the employees' usual place of work. Ask your supervisor or human resources staff if you can telework during Mobility Week.
Bicycling
Bicycling is one of the most utilized modes of active transportation in South Florida. Thousands of South Florida residents bike to work as their primary mode or use their bikes in conjunction with bus/rail.

Walking and Bicycling Safety
Under Florida law, a bicycle is considered a vehicle, and is entitled to share the road with cars, trucks and other vehicles. Become familiar with state traffic laws that apply to bicycles and pedestrians.
