The project utilizes CV technologies on the US 1 corridor, a District 6 Statewide Arterial Management Program (STAMP) Priority Corridor to support Vision Zero with a fatality-free roadway network and a congestion-free transportation system in Monroe County, Florida. The project establishes connectivity between various modes (cars, trucks, buses, pedestrians, bicyclists, and emergency vehicles) and a traffic signal system along with other systems such as midblock pedestrian crossings, weigh‐in‐motion (WIM), drawbridge, and emergency signals.
