CV Smart Signal - Lake County

The Lake County TSM&O Master Plan has identified the southeastern portion of the County, including the City of Clermont, as a key deployment area for additional TSM&O and ITS improvements. The improvements identified in this TAPs-LA proposal will further the goals of the TSM&O Master Plan and the County as a whole, deploying cameras, advanced hardware, and adaptive systems that will provide for more efficient, reliable, and safe travel along a major corridor in the region.

The Lake County CV Smart Signal and VZERO projects will deploy connected vehicle (CV) roadside units (RSUs) and smart/advanced traffic signal equipment at 10 signalized intersections along SR 50 in Lake County to improve safety and mobility on state roadways.
