AV Shuttles at Lake Nona

The autonomous shuttles, a component of the Move Nona multimodal network, launched on September 18, 2019, with one route and two AVs. As of July 2021, the AV shuttles connect residents, workers, and visitors to 10 key destinations in the community through five routes and eight shuttles. The routes provide access to the Orlando VA Medical Center, Town Center, Laureate Park Village Center, Nemours Children's Hospital, UCF College of Medicine and residential homes and apartments.

The AV routes serves a different use case for the community and allow for the safe testing of autonomous vehicles on public roads in various mixed-traffic environments. Riders can utilize Ride Beep to view the shuttle schedule and real-time location of the shuttles on the route.
